Musician

Peter is a professional performer, teacher, and songwriter with a lifelong passion for music. Since the age of seven, Peter has been involved with rock, pop, jazz, and orchestral ensembles such as the All-Southern California Honor Band and the Blue Note Swing Orchestra.  During the early years of his studies, Peter received training from Nick Stoup (timpanist for the LA  Philharmonic) and Gregg Bissonnette (drummer for the Buddy Rich Band and Ringo Starr). His Experience includes performances at Carnegie Hall, The John F. Kennedy Center as well as hundreds of gigs all around the country, and most notably the Moana Surf-Rider Resort where he performed with Melissa Manchester.

Peter was also hired as the drummer for a Rock and Roll Musical in L.A. called “The Eastside Heartbeats”.  The musical was extremely well received and had a run of over 60 shows with almost all of the performances sold out. Peter continues to perform with various groups in Southern California and throughout the states.

TEACHER

Peter has over 15 years of experience teaching music in classroom environments and with individual students of all ages.  He has conducted music classes for the City of Fontana, for a small private school in Walnut, CA, and for a performing arts academy in the City of Glendora.

Peter also provides private lessons both at his personal studio and in the student’s homes.  His individual lessons are customized for each student and are fun, informative, and based on each individual’s musical tastes.  Many of his past students often seek him out for musical advice or just to say hello.  Peter is an excellent musician and teacher and utilizes his vast performing experiences to enhance his lessons.  Lessons are offered for Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, and Drums, his specialty. 

 

 

COMPOSER

Peter is always working on his next musical piece.  He has written dozens of songs individually and as part of various bands.  Peter has also written short musical scores for three animated shorts and a theme song for a future children’s adventure e-book series.  He is hoping to write Hollywood movie scores.
